I have have three words for the Parents Television Council: GO FUCK YOURSELVES!! I'm getting tired of the right-wing whackos trying to play morality police for us. The latest round of bullshit comes from these idiots after Paris Hilton's Carls Jr. hamburger commercial hit the airwaves.

According to news reports, "The Los Angeles-based Parents Television Council is steaming over the commercial, which it deems unsuitable for family viewing."

"This commercial is basically soft-core porn," said Melissa Caldwell, PTC research director. "It's inappropriate for television."

I would love to get the chance to debate these people - who I can guarantee you have no real jobs and most of whom sit home all day. Here's a news flash for those who are in or support the PTC: Television is entertainment. If you don't like it, get off your high horse and turn the goddamn TV off. Better yet, you and your "million" members should get rid of your televisions. When you think about it, most television, regardless of what's on, is bad for children. Lazy parents use it to babysit their kids all day long. I wonder how many hours of television these self-righteous, uptight morons let their kids watch per week.

I am confused by something Ms. Caldwell says. She says the commercial is akin to softcore porn. Really? Not according to what I've seen in Cinemax and HBOZ! At least there you actually get to see something. Yet, Paris hilton in an ugly bathing suit is porn? On what planet? What also doesn't make sense to me is that children in Europe are exposed to sexually explicit material on TV all the time. It's the norm in most Euro countries. Yet, from what I can tell, those kids are much more mentally and sexually stable than here in the US.

It's time to stop these uptight Puritans from trying to dictate what we see on TV. If you don't like it, change the channel. It's that simple.

Great. Now I'm hungry for a burger.....
